Robert 'Bob' McGowan - Camera Operator London, Freelance Lighting Cameraman & Professional Director of Photography. I've been working out of London as a Professional Cameraman & DOP for around 10 years.

I've been lighting & filming dramas, promo's and corporate videos for sometime now and have extensive experience in all sectors of the film, video & media production industry.

I have worked in london as a camera operator, lighting cameraman & DOP on many commercial projects including pop promo's, corporate work, commercials, dramas, short film and live productions. I come with my own cameras & lighting kit which includes a Sony EX1 and a Z1 aswell as a whole bunch of other equipment including own (congestion zone free) car. I also have extensive experience with many professional formats, including Panasonic / Sony / Ikegami Digitbeta, SX, HD and am confident working with 35mm or Super-16mm in addition to Standard Definition. I am comfortable working with any format you think is best suited to your video project.

I'm happy collaborating with Directors and Producers to help deliver their vision and am happy to offer constructive comments in a friendly way to get the best from the time we have. Equally, I am comfortable offering suggestions as a lighting cameraman & director of photography. I am always ready to give support and advice to the programme-makers in pre-production, during and post production.

Not a problem checking out london locations or elsewhere & working with other crew. I also have the Camera Operator skills to self-direct and am confident in the knowledge that I will supply the right footage you require.

Basic pricing structure for a day's shoot is roughly £350 which includes some kit (except jib). Additional expenses are extra and anything beyond a day is always negotiable. Contact me.
